    Metformin 500 mg T is a medicine used to treat type 2 diabetes mellitus. It helps control blood sugar levels and thus prevent serious complications of diabetes. It is also used to treat a menstruation-related disorder known as Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) in women.

    Generic Name Metformin hydrochloride 500 mg

    Indication The medicine belongs to a group of medicines used to treat non-insulin-dependent diabetes (type 2 diabetes mellitus) in adults and children over the age of 10.
    Contra Indication The medicine must not be taken if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to metformin hydrochloride or any of the other ingredients of the medicine; if you suffer from hyperacidity of the blood with diabetes (diabetic ketoacidosis), preliminary stage of a coma;
    Adults Dosage Always take the medicine exactly as your doctor has told you. Please check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure. The dosage of the drug must be specifically determined for each patient by the doctor based on the blood sugar levels and monitored by regular medical checks.
    Child Dosage Not suitable for children
